Anaconda WHITSUNDAY TRAIL FEST

Celebrating its 20th year, the Anaconda Whitsunday Trail Fest traces its roots back to 2005 when it was first introduced by the Mackay Road Runners with the 28km trail event. Over the last decade, the event has been proudly organized by the Whitsunday Running Club. What began with a 28km course has now grown to include the Ultra 58km, the Honeyeater Challenge, the Kids Beach Run, and the Survivors Beach Run, with runners enjoying their finish in the stunning Airlie Beach foreshore.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2025.
From the stunning landscapes to the Great Barrier Reef, there’s so much to explore in the Whitsundays. The course takes runners through the breathtaking Conway Circuit, part of the Conway National Park ranges. Held annually on the second weekend in September, this is a beautiful time of year to experience the trails of the Whitsundays. While you’re here, why not extend your stay to fully enjoy all that this paradise has to offer?
Registration opens at 10:00 am on March 1st, 2025.
